What do you do in life?

I am an independent film maker at 2nd To The Right, an association I founded two years ago. At the moment I am working on a documentary about Si-G, a thirteen year old rapper from Molenbeek.

How did you get here?

While studying cinematography in Paris I was looking for an internship and found it at Caviar, a Brussels based company. I decided to stay here because, believe it or not, I think Brussels is cooler than Paris.

Do you come here often?

I live in the epicenter of the Dansaert district, the so called Fish Market. Moreover, I have always lived 'downtown'.

What do you like about Dansaert?

I have two theaters, three cinemas and two concert halls at my doorstep, what more could I want? And I love to alternate between several cafes and shops.

What place made the strongest impression on you today?

I have just drawn a picture of the famous 'anus' graffiti. I find it quite funny how they have transformed the familiar Zanussi-advertisement into 'anus', together with the suggestive drawing underneath.

Do you have a secret spot in Dansaert?

If I sit still for too long at home, I like to work on the move. "Le Phare du Canal " is the perfect place for that.
